Job Summary:
The ODM/OEM Category Manager will be responsible for managing
relationships with ODM/OEM suppliers, ensuring efficient operations and
delivery of products. This role requires expertise in supplier management,
procurement, and operations within the refrigeration and air conditioning
business line. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing outsourced
manufacturing categories and possess strong knowledge of key account
management
and factory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage
ODM/OEM suppliers to ensure they meet company standards for quality,
cost, and delivery.
Develop and maintain strong
relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and
conditions.
Monitor supplier performance and
implement improvement plans as necessary.
Procurement and Contract
Management:
Oversee the procurement process
for ODM/OEM products, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
Negotiate contracts and
agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms.
Manage and optimize the supply
chain to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Operational Delivery:
Coordinate with suppliers to
ensure timely delivery of products, meeting all quality and specification
requirements.
Work closely with internal
teams, including sales, procurement, and factory operations, to ensure
smooth handover and operational delivery.
Address and resolve any issues
related to supply chain disruptions or delays.
Category Management:
Develop and implement category
strategies for ODM/OEM products, aligning with business goals and market
trends.
Conduct market analysis to
identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Monitor and report on category
performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous
improvement.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry trends,
technologies, and best practices in the refrigeration and air
conditioning sector.
Apply industry knowledge to
drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with sales and key
account management (KAM) teams to understand customer needs and ensure
alignment with supply chain capabilities.
Work with factory operations to
ensure production capacity meets demand and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain
Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in ODM/OEM
supplier management, procurement, or sales within the refrigeration and
air conditioning industry.
Strong understanding of supply
chain processes, contract management, and category management.
Excellent negotiation and
relationship management skills.
Knowledge of factory operations
and key account management.
Ability to analyze data and make
strategic decisions.
Proficient in relevant software
applications and tools.
Fluency in English is preferred.
